Above the main temple’s floor. Rupert Gunnis writes in his book Historic Cyprus that the church was constructed in the 15th century and that the narthex is a more recent addition. Konstantinos Spyridakis dates the church’s construction to the twelfth century. The old, first chapel is decorated with frescoes in a style that is rather modest.
